Brooks: Why I won't quit

News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks today defended her decision not to resign in the wake of the phone hacking scandal.

She met with staff at the News of the World a day after they were told the paper is to close on Sunday, and said she wanted to “fight and get this paper’s reputation back”.
