I would have accepted Brooks' resignation, says Cameron

David Cameron piled further pressure on News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks today, suggesting she should have quit over the News of the World phone-hacking scandal.

The British Prime Minister, himself facing questions over his relationship with the former editor of the Sunday tabloid, said he would have accepted her resignation if it was up to him.
