Cameron takes 'full responsibility' for appointing 'friend' Coulson

The British Prime Miniser David Cameron has said a judge will be appointed to run an independent inquiry into how the News of the World phone hacking scandal was allowed to happen.

A series of allegations led to the shock decision to shut down the paper yesterday, after more than 160 years in operation.
