James “Whitey” Bulger, a notorious Boston gangster on the FBI’s “10 Most Wanted” list for his alleged role in 19 murders, has been captured after living on the run for 16 years, authorities said.

Bulger, 81, was arrested with his long-time girlfriend, 60-year-old Catherine Greig, yesterday evening at a residence in Santa Monica, California, said a law enforcement official.
