French embassy convoy hit by bomb in Iraq

A roadside bomb exploded near a French Embassy convoy travelling through downtown Baghdad, Iraqi police said today.

Police officials said four Iraqi guards working for a private security company employed by the embassy were injured in the blast this morning. Three bystanders were also hurt.
