Al-Qaida commander killed in Africa

Officials in Kenya say the head of Al-Qaida in East Africa has been killed.

Fazul Abdullah Mohammed was wanted in connection with the 1998 US embassy bombings.

He is understood to have died in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, on Wednesday.
