Hillary Clinton interested in World Bank job?

It is thought that Hillary Clinton is vying for the presidency of the World Bank, although her spokespeople have denied the rumour.

The US Secretary of State is said to be in discussions to take up the post when her four-year term as US Secretary of State ends.

The current World Bank president's term comes to an end in the middle of 2012.

Reuters says that the White House has declined to comment on the reports, but quotes a source who claims that President Obama is supportive of the move.
