Five injured in New York shooting

Five people have been shot and wounded on a crowded boardwalk near a New York City beach, and two of them are in critical condition, authorities said.

Police spokesman Paul Browne said the shootings by two gunmen happened during an altercation late yesterday afternoon on the Brighton Beach boardwalk.
