Lagarde odds-on favourite for IMF job as nominations close today

French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde is the odds-on favourite to become the next IMF chief as nominations close later today.

As well as Lagarde, two others are expected to put their hat in the ring for the vacancy, which arose after Dominique Strauss-Kahn resigned last month to face sexual assault charges in New York.
