Afghan President Hamid Karzai has issued a warning to Washington after 12 children and two women died in a Nato-led airstrike in southern Afghanistan.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai has issued a warning to Washington after 12 children and two women died in a Nato-led airstrike in southern Afghanistan.

The air strikes in the Nawzad district of southern Helmand were called in after a US Marines base came under attack by insurgents.
