Mladic suspect held in Serbia

A man suspected to be Europe’s most wanted war crimes fugitive Ratko Mladic has been arrested in Serbia.

Serbia’s war crimes prosecutors refused to confirm or deny the report.

Serbia’s President Boris Tadic is to give an urgent media conference.

Serbia state TV said a man who identified himself as Milorad Komadic when he was arrested today is the wartime Bosnian Serb army commander. It gave no other details.
