Two killed in Dutch shooting

Two people have been killed in a shooting at a shopping centre in the Netherlands today, Dutch state broadcaster NOS said.

The incident occurred in the town of Alphen aan den Rijn, 13 miles south-west of Amsterdam.

Several other people are believed to have been injured.

The broadcaster cited eyewitnesses and an unnamed city official.
