David Cameron admitted today the British government had been “charging ahead” with controversial reforms of the NHS and must now pause to address concerns.

Launching the Government’s “listening” exercise on its plans for overhauling the NHS, the Prime Minister insisted he remained “passionately” committed to a health service free at the point of delivery.
