Millions flee Ivory coast chaos

Up to one million people have fled their homes in the Ivory Coast capital Abidjan fearful that post-election unrest will explode into all-out war, the UN refugee agency says.

President Laurent Gbagbo has refused to step down despite his rival Alassane Ouattara being recognised by the international community as the winner of November’s presidential elections.
