Report: US warplane crashes in Libya after 'mechanical failure'

It has been reported that a US warplane has crash landed in Libya.

According to the Telegraph newspaper in the UK, the pilot was rescued by rebels after the American jet was forced down near Benghazi due to "mechanical failure".
