Areas of Pacific lift tsunami alerts

Tsunami alerts for some Asia-Pacific areas have now been lifted - Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand are among them.

Tsunami warnings are also in place for the entire west coast of mainland USA and Canada while waves spawned by the massive earthquake in Japan have hit Hawaii.
