Mubarak hit with travel ban

Egypt’s former leader Hosni Mubarak and his family were banned from travelling abroad and had all their funds seized today.

Unconfirmed reports that Mubarak and his family might have amassed billions, or even tens of billions of dollars over their three decades in power fuelled protesters already enraged over massive corruption and poverty in the country.
