Armed protestors take control of Libyan city

Armed men opposed to the rule of Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi are reported to be in control of the city of Zawiyah.

The town is about 30 miles west of the capital Tripoli.

The red, green and black flag of Libya's anti-Gaddafi rebellion has been seen flying from a building in the town centre.

A crowd of several hundred people have been chanting "this is our revolution".
