Libya warns 'illegal' reporters

Senior Libyan officials are warning foreign journalists who have entered Libya without proper government accreditation that they will be considered al-Qaida collaborators and subject to immediate arrest.

Libyan officials told US diplomats their government would not be responsible for the safety of those journalists, the State Department said.
