'Jackal' faces France blasts trial

Notorious terrorist Carlos the Jackal is to face trial in Paris in November for his alleged role in four deadly bombings in the early 1980s in France.

Venezuelan Carlos, whose real name is Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, is accused of a role in four attacks that killed 11 people and injured at least 100. Three others will also stand trial.
