Expert: People will not die from cancer in a generation

It has been reported that Britain's top cancer specialist is predicting the disease will no longer be a killer within a generation.

Professor Karol Sikora said cancer will merely become a chronic condition.

He told the Sunday Express that a revolution of drugs and technology will enable patients to "live with it, but not die from it".
