US voices concern at attacks on reporters in Egypt
The US has voiced concern at attacks on journalists covering the protests in Egypt.
A Belgian journalist was beaten up and taken to a barracks in Cairo today by non-identified civilians who accused him of supporting Egyptian dissident Mohamed El Baradei.
Three Israeli journalists were being held for violating a curfew imposed by the Egyptian government.
Al-Jazeera Television said Egyptian police detained six of its journalists for several hours on Monday.
