Egyptian police put ElBaradei under house arrest

Egyptian security officials have said pro-democracy leader Mohamed ElBaradei has been placed under house arrest as nationwide anti-government protests raged into a fourth day.

A protester has been killed in the Egyptian city of Suez during clashes with the police.
