Assange to appear in UK court today

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is to appear in court in the UK today.

He is continuing his fight against extradition to Sweden where he is under investigation for alleged sex crimes.

He is appearing at Woolwich Crown court as preparations continue for a full two-day hearing.

At least 100 photographers and cameramen are there, along with Assange's high-profile supporters Bianca Jagger and Jemima Goldsmith.
