Boy, 14, stabbed in fight
A teenage boy was seriously ill in hospital in London today after he was stabbed in a street fight.
The 14-year-old was attacked on the Leyton Grange Estate, off Church Road, in Leyton, east London.
Police and paramedics were called to reports of a knife attack shortly before 9pm last night.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the victim was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital with stab wounds.
The teenager’s condition is not thought to be life-threatening. No-one has been arrested over the attack.
Leyton Grange is one of the most deprived areas of the capital and the estate is made up of a 1960s 10-storey tower block surrounded by low-rise blocks.
