US carrier commander fired over videos

A senior US Navy officer has been removed from command of an aircraft carrier over raunchy comedy videos he made and showed to the crew.

The commander of US Fleet Forces, Admiral John C. Harvey, said Captain Owen Honors showed “extremely poor judgement” in the videos that included anti-gay slurs and sexual innuendo.
