State of emergency called in US after severe floods

Severe flooding has hit three US states, with emergencies being declared in Arizona, California and Nevada.

Several houses were swept away on the banks of the Beaver Dam in Arizona.

California is being told to brace itself for more storms.

Hundreds of people there have been evacuated from their homes, and LA has received more than a third of its annual rainfall in less than a week.
