Bloomberg rules himself out of presidency bid

New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg has ruled out running for the presidency.

Billionaire Bloomberg had been fancied to challenge Barack Obama for the White House in 2012.

But he said he is not interested in the job and won't change his mind.

Bloomberg started his political life as a Democrat before defecting to the Republican party.

He is now an independent.
