Iran to air new footage of woman in stoning case

Iran’s state TV says it will air new footage of an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning for adultery, the latest in state-orchestrated broadcasts on the case that has caused an international outcry.

Press TV says the footage will be aired late today and that it will show Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani at her home in north-western Iran, recounting her alleged crimes and details of her husband’s murder.
