Two dead in Afghan army base blast

A bomb has exploded inside an army base in eastern Afghanistan, killing at least two civilians, Afghan officials said today.

Nato forces confirmed today’s attack in the city of Gardez but did not have details. Spokesman Master Sgt. Jason Haag said only that there was “some sort of attack at Gardez”.
