Germany closes Reichstag amid security concerns

A section of Germany's parliament has been closed for tourists because of security concerns.

The cupola on the Reichstag offers panoramic views and attracts three million visitors a year.

A magazine article at the weekend reported that German authorities had been warned of a possible al-Qaida attack on parliament next year.
