Bird flu returns to Hong Kong

Hong Kong has confirmed its first human case of bird flu in seven years.

A 59-year-old woman is seriously ill in hospital with the disease, after returning from a visit to mainland China.

The bird flu alert has been raised to "serious", meaning there is a risk of contracting the disease within the territory.
