Large bomb levels building close to US consulate in Pakistan

A powerful bomb in the centre of Pakistan’s largest city levelled a building today, police and witnesses said.

Police officer Iqbal Mahmood said the blast took place close to a police building that is not far from the heavily fortified US consulate in Karachi.
