Mexican drug baron killed in shootout with marines

Alleged drug cartel leader Ezequiel Cardenas Guillen was killed in a shootout in the border city of Matamoros, a Mexican official said.

Federal security spokesman Alejandro Poire said Cardenas Guillen was killed in a clash with marines.
