Longest snake dies

The longest snake living in captivity has died.

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio said workers found Fluffy, the 24ft python, dead from an apparent tumour.

Reticulated python Fluffy, 18, held the Guinness World Record as the longest snake living in captivity. It was about as long as a removal van, as thick as a telephone pole and weighed 300lbs.
