Chilean investigators are looking into reports that operators ignored warnings from one of the miners before the collapse that trapped 33 men.

Deputy Carlos Vilches, a legislative commission member, said today that miner Juan Llanes has alleged operators refused his request to leave the mine three hours before it collapsed on August 5.
