A 16-year-old girl stabbed her newborn baby to death while in shock after giving birth without realising she had been pregnant, a court heard today.

A 16-year-old girl stabbed her newborn baby to death while in shock after giving birth without realising she had been pregnant, a court in Britain heard today.

The girl, now aged 17, pleaded guilty to a charge of infanticide at Winchester Crown Court.
