An eight-year-old girl who was abducted while playing outside a California home escaped from her captor after a driver recognised the suspect’s vehicle and cut it off.
Elisa Cardenas was found about 11 hours after she disappeared, triggering a state-wide search.
The suspect – identified as Gregorio Gonzalez, 24, was later arrested.
