Mother held after body of decapitated teen found in Guyana

The decapitated body of a 16-year-old girl was found inside a suitcase that was thrown into a creek and weighted down with dumbbells, and police in Guyana said that her mother and two others were detained.

Also in custody were the mother’s lover and another woman who was not identified, according to police spokesman John Sauers. No one has been charged.
