Dozens die in Vietnam floods

The death toll in floods in central Vietnam rose to 26, with nine other people missing, as helicopters continue to drop food to people in villages still cut off by the influx.

In the worst-hit province of Quang Binh, disaster official Nguyen Ngoc Giai said today that 11 people died and that authorities are still searching for five sailors from a sunken barge.
