Iraqi soldiers killed by roadside bomb

A roadside bomb has struck a bus carrying Iraqi soldiers today, killing nine people and injuring five others near the northern city of Mosul, officials said.

The blast hit the vehicle this afternoon on the highway between Mosul and the town of Tal Afar, 260 miles north-west of Baghdad, Iraqi military and police officials said.
