Seven US troops die in Afghan attacks

Seven US soldiers were killed in two separate roadside bomb attacks in southern Afghanistan today.

Nato did not give details of the attacks, although witnesses in the city of Kandahar said a US Army Humvee hit a roadside bomb in the early afternoon.
