An airliner with 91 people on board crashed in north-east China today.
Rescuers were still rushing to the scene to evaluate the number of casualties.
The official Xinhua News Agency did not say if there were any fatalities.
The Henan Airlines plane came down close to an airport in Heilongjiang province near the Lindu airport in Yichun city at 10.10pm local time (1510 BST),
It had taken off from Heilongjiang’s capital of Harbin shortly before 9pm.
Chinese state TV later said 47 people had been rescued from the crashed plane.
Xinhua said the plane overshot the runway in Yichun city and burst into flames. More than 20 people have been taken to hospital.
