Locals angry as Moat ashes scattered near town
Residents of the town where where British murderer Raoul Moat ended his life were furious today after it emerged his ashes were scattered close by.
His family said the remains were put in the River Coquet a few miles outside the Northumberland town of Rothbury, so they could float down in fast-flowing water, past the riverside site where the stand-off with police ended last month.
