German passenger train hits truck

A passenger train collided with a truck in Germany today in an incident which left two carriages derailed.

One passenger was seriously hurt and nine others were slightly injured when the InterCityExpress high-speed Frankfurt to Paris train hit a rubbish truck after the vehicle slid down a wet slope near Lambrecht, about 90 miles south-west of Frankfurt.
