An investigation is under way today into the cause of a fire that killed four babies at a maternity hospital in Romania.

An investigation is under way today into the cause of a fire that killed four babies at a maternity hospital in Romania.

Three newborns died yesterday after the fire broke out, spreading thick smoke in the intensive care unit for premature babies at the Giulesti maternity ward in Bucharest. A fourth infant died early today.
