Spanish police officer killed in clash with robbers

A shoot-out between Spanish police and two men allegedly trying to rob a bank left one officer dead and another wounded, police said today.

A Civil Guard spokesman said one of the suspects was also injured and was arrested, but the second escaped on foot.
