The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has pledged a further $10m to help Pakistan following the devastating flooding.

The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has pledged a further $10m to help Pakistan following the devastating flooding.

He has been visiting the worst affected areas to see for himself the extent of the damage and has warned the disaster is far from over.

The UN will now donate $27m in aid.

Ban Ki-Moon said "unprecedented floods require unprecedented assistance".
