FBI investigate suspicious substance at Israeli Embassy

US authorities are investigating an envelope with a white powdery substance found at the Israeli Embassy in north-west Washington.

Embassy spokesman Jonathan Peled said the FBI took the envelope, which was addressed to the embassy rather than to an individual.
