Riot officer to face no charges over G20 death

A police riot squad officer was told today he will not be prosecuted over the death of Ian Tomlinson during G20 protests.

UK Director of Public Prosecutions Keir Starmer said there is “no realistic prospect” of a conviction after a 15-month inquiry.
